Another dynamic performance was rolled-out at the recent
2007 Bellingen Jazz Festival, with a jam-packed solo
concert receiving rave reviews. Paul also turned-on another
excellent performance as member of the Hot Club of Boggy
Creek band at the festival.
As a first-time performer at the Brisbane Ozmanouche

On Valentine's Day 2008, Paul featured as a guest artist with his former band Monsieur
Camembert at Sydney's renowned live music club The Basement. The band was augmented
to a big-band style for the occasion and turned-out a typically intoxicating blend of
gypsy-jazz and world music sound.
In 2008, he is once again looking keen to step onto the international scene, with hopes for a
return to both Europe and Japan around the middle of the year. Further recording projects are
also on the tab, including tracks laid as a duo with his younger brother and fellow gypsy-jazz
In the meantime, Paul has put on another splendid performance at the Brisbane Jazz Club in
July with the Peter Freeman 'Tropical Dance Orchestra' and once again headlined at the
Bellingen Jazz Festival. At the 2008 festival he has gathered an all-star line-up of 10 hot gypsy
jazz guitarists from Australia-wide to perform several shows as the 'Manouche Partie'.
